Everything is Normal


Created as part of an artist residency with Catherine Wheels Theatre Company at Ross High School in Tranent, East Lothian.


Everything is normal. People go about their daily life: a man goes into Greggs to buy a sausage roll, a boy takes his dog for a walk, a family run to catch a bus. Yes, everything is 100% completely normal. But who are the two mysterious people in white lab coats? And what power do they have over everyone? Everything isnormal… Right?

 

A performance about control and power with a healthy dose of odd. Co-created by Greg Sinclair, Iain Reekie and a cast of teenagers from Ross High School, Tranent.




Inspired by John Smith’s experimental film from the 1960s, The Girl Chewing Gum and created in collaboration with a group of young people.
